"Nice looking Lowa boots - I have a slightly different model, but they are the best hiking shoes I've ever had. Beautifully lined in baby-butt soft leather, good support, good looking. Although mine were not billed as waterproof, they are so well made that they are waterproof. I spend the day in my yard digging ditches in so much mud that it came in over the top, but my feet never got wet. The mud dried and I scraped it off and they look good as new. I think the sizing is off - by like a size and a half. I had a slight problem when I first got them with the tongue causing irritation, but was able to tie it up out of the way and no problem now. I think the insoles provided with the shoes had no support, but I have custom insoles and don't remember exactly." |

"A good alternative shoe for non-leather users. I am a land surveyor and I work outside in all types of weather. I am also a vegan and it is really tough to find good non-leather shoes that are comfortable. I am very pleased with how these Lowa shoes have kept my feet warm and dry. They are a bit stiff, but I think they will break-in after a few days in the field. " |

"Good boots! I have had these Lowa boots for a couple of weeks. So far, I think these are the best boots I have owned. I wear my boots every day for work. I climb trees for a living and if these boots hold up as well as I hope they do, I will continue to wear them. They are extremely light and comfortable and are absolutely waterproof. They also offer good traction. " |
